Bijar: camp near Osor

It's middle sized campground here with some really good spots for tents and enough privacy to set your little area as you wish. We camped here a few nights, it was high season so it was the cheapest option. Nearest town is Osor and among camps we checked in the vicinity of town this is the best one. Few other are across canal at Losšinj but they don't have that good shade.

It has two sanitary blocks one next to another, both can get relatively crowded at certain hours of day and it takes bit walking if you stay in areas not centrally located. Best to figure our when people wake up and get there early or later, also avoid washing during normal lunch hours and dinners.
The beach is of more and less rocks and some smaller coves with pebble and it's not the most shaded one during the mid day because it's on Southern side of an island. It's also little difficult to get into water at less crowded spots plus there are enough sea urchins, too. It makes no sense to walk far from the camp because as you walk further along the coast, there are some cliffs and it's even more difficult to get to water there and with less shade at these spots. Well, we like shade. Pine trees in the camp are gorgeous to say the least.
If you come by car: you need to get in by 11 pm if you want to bring car to your site, the gates get closed and you're supposed to be quiet then.

The camp won prizes for its ecology friendly standards and they use reed bed sewage treatment system for wastewater, which is very good I believe.
