Valamar Koralj Hotel: Krk's most romantic choice
My stay was a very pleasant one, the hotel is by far the most romantic with one of the most breathtaking locations in KRK. It has a sandy beach, in s small bay in front of the hotel, although the beach is a public one, and access is guaranteed to all visitors.
Rooms are quite fine, with A/C, Sat T/V.
I would recommend this hotel also for its excellent location, only a 5 minutes pleasant walk to the centre of Krk city, where you can enjoy wonderful evening promenades.
Unique Quality: Hotel has 3 small swimming pools, one is for babies and children.
The view from the swimming pool is really wonderful (see attached pictures).
The hotel restaurant has a 10 star open buffet offering excellent food, for all tastes, and in large quantities.
There is some kind of animation in the evening as they have a live band singing in all languages.
Staff is very helpful, and most of them are polyglots speaking Croatian, English, German, Italian, Slovenian and Serbian.
The price was a but high due to peak season, otherwise it should cost almost half what I paid.

Hotel Tamaris: Where to stay in Baska on Krk
The Tamaris is a charming 3 star hotel with 15 rooms and 15 apartments which has been recently refurbished. Rooms are well-equipped, modern and clean with impressive bathrooms. The half-board option proved to be a good choice as the food was of good quality with a choice of meat or fish available every night. The reception staff and waiters are also helpful and friendly. Good out of season deals available. Recommended.
Unique Quality: What really makes this hotel special is its superb position literally on the beachfront with the sea lapping the pebbles only 20 metres away. This is incredibly convenient for access to the beach if you need to pop back to your room for anything.

HOTEL OMORIKA.: A three stars hotel in Punat.
I stayed six nights half board at Hotel Omorika in Punat. I was given a large room with bathroom en-suite.
Breakfast and dinner were buffet style. Dinner was good even if not exceptional.
Unique Quality: Hotel Omorika has a garden with a playground area for kids and a big terrace. It is not far from the main bus stop (10 minutes by foot) and it is a short walk from the beaches.

Hotel Malin: Four star and very nice

Private apartman
This house is a private house, my colleagues's friend's family's house...;-)))
The fam stays 6 months in Opatija and another 6 months in Vantacici, a little-little town of Krk.
They have several apartments in the house that are really clean and nice, with kitchen, one bedroom, a little room with sofa and bathroom.
Only difficulty was that they spoke only Croatian (next time maybe I take my granny.. she could translate)... and Italian.. we spoke Hungarian and English.. but even.. I miss their kindness.. also offered us some kind of very hot and strong national drink... geeeeez!!
YES! shouldnt forget.. it was 5am when we arrived by car.. but as the family has a little baby about the age of 2... we slept in the car till 7am.. just not to wake the baby up..

Hotel Malin: Hotel Malin in Malinska
It's a three star Hotel with wellness area and I guess the largest hotel in Malinska.
The price was okey, but I wouldn't book it a second time... because considering service etc. you can probably find also a hotel for a good price there which is smaller and more interested in their guests.

Sweet dreams afloat
Marina Punat was first "real" marina opened to nautical tourists since 1964 when they constructed first 10 berths for foreign yachts.
Great location, high demand, so they tend to be rude. If you don't like it, go somewhere else is their attitude.
Berths in water and on land, wide range of services, cranes, shipyard, charter services, transit berths, sailing school.
Restaurant offering local dishes as well as traditional continental food.
Grocery shop, pizzeria - bar with cyber point that never works.
Overcrowded sanitary facilities.
Tennis playgrounds nearby.

Almost everybody is renting rooms/appartments on the Adriatic and that is surely the best and most comfortable way to spend your holidays! You have a privacy of your own home and all the comfort that you need, and above all, private and friendly atmosphere!
