We are staying in Lopar on Rab for 10 days and would like to find the best places for snorkelling. Coral, colourful underwater scenery and fish. any ideas?
Also is there any problem with jellyfish.
We leave in 2 days so need quick answers. Sorry......
lopar is made of san as is the sea bottom so there aren' many corals or rich sea life around here. you should either rent a boat to take you to Goli otok or Grgur islands nearby or go to Suha Punta and Kalifront part to enjoy the best snorkeling and rich underwater life.

This photo & a few below were taken at Suha Punta. It's a vast area. There are people almost everywhere. Some were naked & some were not (fully) naked. I was not naked. Well, I wore my swimming trunk.
People playing volleyball, lying on the sun, reading, talking, swimming, singing with their kids...full of life !
Full of activities just like at a camping ground.
Now, my 3rd day & last day on Rab Island. Just bought the bus ticket to Rijeka. It was at about 1 pm.
I woke up early, checked out early. I wanted to explore some areas I didn't previously. Maybe too busy at Suha Punta...ahem !
