Picture of pool area and bar/cafe area.

Due to the low rise buildings and the orientation, you could be catching the rays from around 0830 (in October!) right until sundown (around 1730). It was so warm in fact that on people would still be lying out on the beaches, or in the sea, as the sun set.

Holiday Apartments

Small apartment complex right at the edge of the resort area in Makronissos. Only 34 apts on two floors, and about half full when I was there. Some upper apts would have a side sea view, most overlook the pool area. I travelled on a package with Thomas Cook, who I think are the only company which offer them. Another TCook complex (Louitsiana) next door, supermarkets either side, and a selection of bars/tavernas within 5 minutes walk. 5 minutes to waterpark.

Unique Quality: Still has all the facilties you need - 24 hour reception/bar, bar is well stocked and has a cocktail happy hour. Reasonable food, reasonably priced, seats by the pool. The pool itself is about 15m long, with a very deep deep-end, and there is a little kiddypool as well. Even in 30C sunshine the pool was pretty cold, in fact the sea was warmer. Grassed areas and some plants around complex.

Cosmelenia Apartments Cyprus

by maggieDavies about 3 Star Accomodation

This is a fantastic apartment block located in the quiet end of Ayia Napa close to Ayia Thekla with a 10 minute walk to the lovely Maccronnisis Beach which is quite a busy beach but well laid out with a very friendly guy who charges 1.25 CP for the loan of beds and umbrellas, he also patrols the beach to ensure your belongings are safe it is brilliant. The people who own the apartments are the best we had our rooms cleaned virtually every day and our bedding changed 6 times during our two weeks stay, which is the best i have ever had from a Self Catering holiday. The place is so clean and the staff so obliging, it is very close to a number of really good tavernas which are all within walking distance are moderately priced and a full variety of food. The pool is cleaned and so are the beds around the pool every morning the corridoors to the apartments are cleaned every day, the people who own the apartments just could not do enough for you, for familes, for couples or for older persons this is brilliant, for a group of youngsters it is great but be prepared for having to spend £3.00 Cp on a cab into town as it is a 7km walk which is maybe ok at the beginning of the night but perhaps not so good at the end. Push bikes can be hired for £10.00CP per week and it is so flat it is brilliant for getting about.

we took our Two boys 12 - 13 years and our parents late 70's and we had the best time ever.

Also the Laundry is great buy the powder from the supermarket next door at .60p then it is 1.50 for a large load, did all the washing before I came home it was great.
