Sorry I don't have any info for you about your holiday - I just wanted to wish you lots of luck with your GCSEs really.

Most clubs will want you to be 18 to enter, but not all. I don't know what "spikin" means, but I assume you are asking about the prices of drinks-well, they tend to be higher in clubs than in pubs & bars, so if you are going to get drunk (which I hope you're not, being only 16 LOL), do so at home and then go out.
Stay safe!

"spikin" = Spiking

This comes from the National Health Service website:

"Drink spiking is when a mind-altering substances, such as drugs or alcohol have been added to your drink without you knowing. Mind-altering means that it may affect how you act, or how you behave with other people.

There are many reasons why someone might spike a drink, but the most common reasons are for amusement, or to carry out sexual assault, rape, or theft."

This is what the OP is referring to in her question.

Ooops! Thanks for the explanation!
Well, to be honest, I have never heard of anyone's drink being "spiked" in a club in Aya Napa (or anywhere else, for that matter). This is not to say that this thing does ot exist or that you should't be careful. Just order drinks from a bottle or a can, and not coctails, and drink in moderation.

Hey - sorry i aint got an answer i got a question...
Are you staying just you lot - at 16 year olds?
If you are WHERE are you staying? Me & my mates will be 17 when we go and we can't find any hotels that would take on under 18's without an adult.
Please reply! :D

Travel Tips for Ayia Napa

MLdivers

by hillmas83

I recently went to ayia napa in cyprus with some friends and we decided to give scuba diving a try. We went with a company called ML Divers. They were all english and when talking us through what was invloved they clearly knew exactly what they were talking about. I was very apprehensive at first but the instructors were excellent. They were very patient and took things at our pace. It was one of the best experiences of my life and something that i am definately going to do again. Im going back later this year to do my open water course with them. All the equipment we needed was supplied by them and it was all included in the price

Bedrock Inn

by cheekymarieh

The ultimate karaoke bar with superb decor. The staff are dressed in suitable caveman attire. Who knows you may get to meet Fred Flintstone himself!
The singing in the bar tends to be of quite a high standard compared to many places. It is worth noting that children are not allowed to sing after around 11pm. It is always crowded and you may have to wait a while if you want to perform yourself. Less is best!

The grotto-church of Agia Thekla

by globetrott

The grotto-church of Agia Theklais something that you might miss, except that you decide to take the steps in front of the church, taking you down to the impressive rocks on the coastline. You need to bow and crawl inside, but I think it was worth the trouble. This grotto-church is obviously still used by local people, because you find fresh
flowers there and candles burning.

Set your spirit free

After clubbing, River Reggae is a great place to go and have a drink, chill out and if you dare splash out in the open air swimming pool. This outdoor bar sports palm trees, mellow music, and a u-shaped swimming pool. River Reggae is a compelling way to spend the last few hours of darkness...it transports you to some kind of state of mind, where nothing matters, and time is irrelevant...

"We should consider every day lost in which we do not Dance at least once"
- Nietzsche

During the day Jasmin Inn offers a great selection of meals at day time, at the magical time of the night 11pm however everything goes really mad and crazy.
The Jasmin Inn turns upside down and inside out. Dance floor? you've never seen any like it dance on the tables , chairs , bar ...basically if you can stand on it why not dance on it

In and around The Square. Pabs and Bars and so many Party Goers...
