Napa Prince Hotel Apts.

by rknadam

Hello everyone!!

Im going to Aya Napa in a week, for 5 days. Im planning to book my stay at Napa Prince Hotel. Does anyone have any experience with that hotel? How are the rooms? Is it far from the center of Aya Napa?
It would be great if someone can recommend some nice place to stay in Aya Napa.

Is there a bus connection from Laranca airport to Aya Napa?

Thanks in Advance!! :)

Travel Tips for Ayia Napa

Take A Dive At Your Peril

by cheekymarieh

Cavo Greco (Cape Greco) sea caves are well worth a visit. You will often see people diving off the cliffs. The secnery is pretty spectacular - stunning drops down to a crystal blue sea.

A word of warning to those who are daring enough to take the plunge though- there are some dangerous currents around this area.

The sea caves lie off the Protaras - Ayia Napa Coast road. Follow the road to Protaras and take the first road to Cavo Greco. About 150m along the road there is a small dirt track with a sign post to the caves.

THE FESTIVAL - LAST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER

by greekcypriot

THE FESTIVAL

The Ayia Napa Festival is an annual event since 1985. If you happen to be here the last week of September you will be lucky to visit it.
It takes place in Sepheris Square in the Monastery. These festivities reflect the historic, cultural and agricultural traditions of the village with theatrical performances and concerts, as well as Cypriot and foreign folk dancing.
Painting and photography exhibits, are displayed in the square and stalls with traditional folk art as well. All these take place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The Eternal Sunshine and the Turquoise Sea

"Quiet Ayia Napa"

I was looking for a quiet place to go in the end of April - beginning of May, and decided to go to Ayia Napa.

QUIET???? Believe me or not it was quite a quiet place. May be because the season just started; may be because +25C - +27C it's not considered warm (things are indeed very relevant :) and attracts people only from "the cold countries" as one local pointed out.

BUT, it was SUNNY and WARM (at least to me :), and BEACHES (even famous Napa Beach) were not overcrowded. it was still perfect for long walks (even from 12-3pm) and biking. even the sea temperature (+19 +20C) was ok for swimming.

" the Sunsets are Equally Beautiful"

" the Cavo Greko and the Sea Caves"

Beautiful nature is one of the biggest assets of Ayia Napa. The National Park, Cavo Greko, and the Sea Caves are just 4 km from the city. (see my Things to Do tips for more details)
