Hi Have a look at www.tsokkos.com most of there hotels are in the Protaras and next door Pernera Beach area. I have stayed at the Hotel Anastasia in Pernera Beach which of a good standard like most in Cyprus.
Have a look at some reprts on trip advisor.

Re: Going to ayia napa ....

Hey, I've just come back from tsokkos holiday apartments (yesterday). I stayed there from 8th-15th july with 4 of my girls and after reading some reviews we were a bit worried. It turned out to be really good though!! It's a 5-10 min walk to the main square which is sooooo lively and quite near to the many restaurants, beach & strip of souvenir shops. There are also supermarkets quite close to the apartments which is good. The clubs are amazing and always heaving with people, i'm not sure whether it is likely to be as lively as the summer time but im sure you'll have a great time! Also, you HAVE to go to a foam party...they are amazing...we went to a foam party at PLAY nightclub which was good but apart from the foam party everything else at PLAY wasn't that good. The Bell Inn is good for pre-clubbing drinks with good music & Castle club is really good too.
The apartments are really lively during the day and even early in the morning, we came back from a foam party at 5am and people were still sitting round the pool drinking at the bar lol. It can get a bit noisy when people are coming in from clubs in the morning and there is usually some banging and shouting but it wasn't that bad. I'm sooooooo jealous, i want to go back now!!

Hope all of this helps x

In October these days Napa is very quiet compared to 5-6 years ago. There won't be the same amount of clubs open by then but you'll still have some choice.

Re: Going to ayia napa ....

We're not too bothered about the amount of clubs being open. Just hoping that the weather will still be good at this time of year asi have only ever been to cyprus in the Summer and it was roasting then

thanx for your help x

Re: bring on napa

by Patchi

Me and my friends we gonna be there on the 10th of July, I guess we are staying In (Nissi Beach resort)Or (Adams Beach) they told us that those 2 hotels are the best in location on the beach and close to clubs.

Re: bring on napa

by lastic66

Both of those hotels are reall close to nissi beach (the only place to spend your days) but they are not within walkin distance of the main square so youll have to get taxis (always confirm the price before you get in the cab).
They are also two of the better hotels in napa and tend to attract alot of families, but thats not a problem as most hotels welcome people from other apts to their pool bars!

Re: bring on napa

by Patchi

Thanks lastics,

We didin't book yet, so do u know please any hotel its walking distance from the main square? because i live in a country where i can go to the beach almost all the year, so i prefere to be close to the clubs lol

Thanks a lot for your help

Re: bring on napa

by lastic66

No worries mate, there are loads of hotels within walking distance of the square, you could try Anthea apts, Tsokkos apts, takkas apts, maria apts, senator apts all of which generally have quite a young crowd and nice pool facilities and are no more than 4 mins from the action! This year will be my sixth season workin in napa so if you need to know anything else, im sure i will be able to help!

Re: bring on napa

by Patchi

Hey man,

I checked with a Travel agent the price for Tsokkos holiday apartments its 550 us Dollars with the tickets and transport from the airport, and for Nissi hotel around 900 us Dollars, So is Tsokkos Holiday good or its not and its close to everything (clean) (Comftable)

Do u think i should book it ? or do u think i should check another one ???

Ur help is great Man :) We are 2 Guys

Re: bring on napa

by lastic66

Yeah tsokkos is alright its clean etc and in a good location, check out the anthea apts first i think that will probably be the best one for you mate

Travel Tips for Ayia Napa

The Monastery

by Incubus30

Well not really "Off the Beaten Path" tip but I think this is the closest place to put this tip

In Ayia Napa, one tends to get carried away by the night scene. Find a small slot of time to visit the sweet monastery that resides in the centre of all the hustle & bustle.

Water Park

by Coolhour

Not very faraway from Ayia Napa (you can get to their in a bicycle), it is a nice Water Park (not the largest comparing to Family Land in Wisconsin or wonder land in Dubai, but it is not small either.

There is a lot of fun going around their, take a note of the big pool in the middle (The Poseidon Waves) cause every hour the horn starts followed by waves.

The theme for this is Greek and so cool, I loved it!!!

Not my kind of place, really.

by planxty

"A bit too fast a pace of life."

I have to be honest and say that a summer holiday in Ayia Napa would be my idea of hell. The town, once a sleepy little fishing port, has a reputation now for being a 24 hour a day party town, attracting a young crowd from all over Europe to it's myriad bars and nightclubs. People mention it in the same terms as Ibiza and Faliraki. Maybe 25 years ago it might have appealed, but not now.

We visited for a day to visit friends who live in the town. As it was still early in the season, there weren't that many tourists about and many of the clubs and bars had not opened for the season. I was taken to a couple of interesting places which I have created tips for, that I suppose most of the drunken young revellers never even think of looking at.
