Cape Grecko: is a lovely place - peaceful.
Sitting on the rocks, every now and again to be woken up by a boat that comes by.
When you get to hot you more or less role over and take a dip for a while.
Coral is good here if you like to dive.
Its a great place to go - well worth a visit.
Troodos mountains: escape the heat by going there. The higher you get the cooler it gets.
Passing little cabins, horses, odd families who live there. Stopping off to get some great pictures of Cyprus. Only problem with the photos is that the clouds are sometimes lower than you are - so you can't see much on a cloudy day. At the near the top is a man who sells ice cream that does not melt .....and more Spectacular views. Well worth a trip there.
Nissi beach after a good night out is the place to go. This sandy beach is enormous & you can either relax on the sand or else do something more adventourous.
Windsurfing,jet biking,bungy jumping etc.
Music is blaring from the various bars on the beach so if u want to have a nap, better stay by the hotel pool.
Turquoise clear waters and crazy nightlife
Agia Napa has one of the best beaches of Cyprus.
During the days the beaches around Agia Napa is full crowed
but Agia Napa is most famous for its lively crazy nightlife similar to Ibiza.
Actually i dont recommend it for those they prefer quiet entertaiment.
Ayia Napa Nighlife
"Party, Party ,Party"
Who needs a Club 18-30 bar crawl? Why not take Cheeky’s guided tour of the most important night life spots in Ayia Napa. This knowledge comes from two six month spells of working in the town over consecutive summers. Oh yes, it is the place for night life … and was long before the Channel 4 documentary highlighted it.
"The Old Wreck"
Let’s begin with one of my personal favourites. Tony, the owner, employs some of the most entertaining staff in town and is a great guy.
Check out the cocktail list. If you can’t find one out of over 200 that are listed – then there must be something wrong with you!!! Try and avoid it when the holiday company bar crawls hit it as you will have to wait a while to be served … unless Tony spots you.
Let’s venture into the Square. In the height of summer you can hardly move – in any of the pubs – not just Minos. Go upstairs for a good view of what’s happening. A word of advice, the drinks in the Square will be a little more expensive.
"Bedrock - meet the Flintstones!"
Let’s stop off next at the Ultimate Karaoke bar. Usually you will hear one or two talented performers. Those that can’t sing tend to be found elsewhere. Check out the staff uniforms – all Flintstones themed.
Move on to the cocktail hour (or two) at Kahlua. There are a superb range of cocktails made by Wicked Willy. Watch an expert in action making them.
"Trotters - try Delboy's Specials"
For all you fans of Only Fools And Horses, this is the place to go. You may catch some showings of the videos. They have virtually every episode on video , or so Lefteris told me. I seemed to catch the same episode on numerous occasions – but I suppose that is only to be expected when you are a regular over the summer!
Again I can recommend the cocktails – and those who want to be reminded of summer – how about a nice Pimms No. 1.
Evangelos, Panikos, and Lefteris are sure to keep you entertained.
The club has been recently renovated and has a smart new decor. There is a superb sound system and great lights. It is always one of the first clubs to open and one of the last to close.
The music is some of the finest tunes from the 70's and 80's.
This is the longest running and most successful late bar, open from around midnight to 7am. It is an outdoor venue set in a small valley surrounded by trees and plants and with a swimming pool with logs across for your entertainment. There are even a few sunbeds to chill out on.
If Reggae music isn't your taste they've also introduced a basement club ... but we prefer the open air.
