I'd come back here any time, and I'd recommend it to anyone. As well as its facilities (see below) the location is great too, 5 minutes walk from the seafront, 10 from the harbour & archeological park and close to "bar street" - but not so close that you get invasive noise. It was always so quiet that we got a great night's sleep every night.
The rooms were large and comfortable and had sufficient storage space too, which makes quite a change. There were two main rooms, the bedroom and the kitchen/dining which had a balcony off it. The cooking equipment consisted of a 3 ring hob, oven/grill, microwave, kettle and filter coffee maker. Strangely there was no briki, a Greek coffee maker. The pool area was decent with an L-shaped pool with water features in the leg bit. There was a pool bar doing all-day food (we had breakfast, £2 (Cypriot) for a very filling vegetarian English breakfast) and drinks. There are shady spots to sit, a video games room, small indoor pool, sauna, garden (yes, garden!), children's playground, launderette, loads of car parking... Really for us the place was perfect. We cooked in about 4 times (2 lunches, 2 dinners) because it was so nice at the apartment and the quality of food in the Cypriot supermarkets and shops simply demands that you cook in at least once!

CROWN RESORT HOTEL by RobMorgan I think we arrived at the beginning of the Cyprus holiday season as it had been raining till just before we arrived & the hotel was only about 1/4 full, so it was very quiet. Although be prepared that on weekends the Greek Cypriots book in here for a one-night break (Fri into Sat) with their families, as it`s such good quality, so it might get a little noisy on Fri night & Saturdays. But I must say, their children are much better behaved than the British ones !!!!
Rooms are very comfortable, with fridge, tv, hair dryer, kettle, etc. The food is the best I`ve ever tasted in a European/Med type hotel. Good choice, variety & really good quality. The service in the dining room I cannot fault, service with a smile every time. We will definitely come back to this hotel in the future. Amathus Beach Hotel by tagalonggal Our week at the Amathus Beach Hotel was wonderful. Luxurious accommodation, pool, excellent gym/spa and marvellous dining experiences. The morning buffet was terrific, served beside the pool in lovely landscaped grounds. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Photo used with permission of Kontoyiannis House by Pappy17, 4 more photos Kontoyiannis House is a restored home built in the 1850s. It's in the village of Kalavassos, and part of Cyprus's agrotourism program. (http://www.agrotourism.com.cy/) The village and hotel were really nice places to stay, and added enjoyment to our time on the island. The owners were great, and since we were on our honeymoon, had flowers waiting for my wife. It has 4 apartments that overlook a courtyard, and guests are invited to pick fruit from the adjoining garden. Our apartment had a full kitchen, a separate en-suite bedroom, living room and balcony. There's a washing machine in the courtyard for guests' use. There are restaurants in the area (Tenta is a standout), and the grocery/general store a few steps away. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Atmosphere of the town and home.

Not luxurious or fancy, it was 2 mins. walk from Pernera Beach, and right next to a little mexican place which served a jug of Strawberry Daquiri for 10 pounds. At one stage my wife got stuck in the elevator when the power went down... luckily only for 10 mins. or so. Theme: HotelComparison: about averageAddress: Pernera Bay

Plunge Pool by KelseyQ Absolutely gorgeous! Great service, nice people super spa, good choice of restaurants.....
Our room had a private plunge pool that was fabulous! The view was amazing. The was a bar in the horizon pool but with our own private pool we did only used it once. All that booze...what a waste!

by andreasCY All classes of hotels exist here in Cyprus. It is really up to you to choose where to stay according to how much you want to spend... 3* hotels can be most of the times cheap and really worth staying ... Surely for those who want a luxury holiday the 5* hotels will please them..... Enjoy your stay... In the photo is our newly bought home and on the ground floor we'll have an independant studio for rent by day... It is located right in the center of Limassol. Its only 2 minutes walk from the sea, 4 minutes from the shoping area of the town and 1 min walk from the best restaurants... Hopefully soon we'll be able to start renting it. Theme: Other

Hotel Roman by leics Rooms, food, service all perfectly reasonable. Wide choice of food and drink at breakfast buffet. Pool very warm and pleasant, though open to the public for free so may get very crowded in season. Cypriot & Greek dance nights weekly, evening meal (buffet again) good value. Sea-views rather distant....not worth paying extra for. Would recommend to anyone with a taste for the surreal (see below).
A surreal experience. Apparently started life as a film-set, and then turned into a hotel (see picture).Wall-height mirrors everywhere (disconcerting to meet several versions of yourself at once), huge murals of Greek myths, sculptures, mock-archaeological artefacts. The Avanti hotel is about 20 minutes walk from Kato Paphos, however, there are local shops, restaurants and bars within 1 minutes walk. The best feature of this hotel was the pool area – and at the time of year that I went – end of April – it was never crowded. Breakfast was fine, plenty of choice, evening meals were great - there was a different theme every night eg Cyprus night, Italian night, International night and the dishes were quite imaginative and varied. We stayed Half Board here and were never bored with the choice on offer. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels seemed to be changed daily too, which was excellent. There is a minibar in the room and a safe, which you have to pay 7 Cypriot pounds for. The evening entertainment was not great though, so for something more exciting you would need to either take a taxi or walk to Paphos. There is also a bus service to Paphos with a stop just to the right of the hotel - it costs 0.80 Cypriot pounds for however many stops you need.
