A Mackenzie Area Hotel
We spent 5 days at this hotel the summer of 2008.
We picked to stay here because I wanted to be near the Mackenzie area just for a change.
I recommend the hotel to people who want to be near the airport, however I have to state here that all Larnaca's city hotels are all near the airport as Larnaca is just 5 or 6 kms away.
Unique Quality: It is a beach hotel, like all the others in the area.
It has the standard amenities like a hairdryer, satelite tv. a dressing table, and air conditioning. A nice view to the beach, and helpful and polite staff at the reception.
I have to admit that the rooms were not very spacious and I felt lucky as most of the times we were out sightseeing or working.
Breakfast was continental.
The surround area has bars, restaurants and tavernas, and the Phinikoudes Promenade is about 2 kms away.

Near Makenzie Park
The Flamingo Beach Hotel is a comfortable three-star hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. It's situated on the famous Makenzie beach area of Larnaka, one kilometers from the city center, three kilometers from the Larnaka International Airport and just half a kilometer away from the Salt Lake.
