can anyone please recommend a tour agency that
organise a day trip to nicosia ?
Thanks
Have just returned from Cyprus and though I cannot recommend a tour company, you will find many many offers of day trips to Lefkosia (Nicosia).
Everywhere we went there were advertisements and probably a lot cheaper than anything you will find on-line.
Don't forget your passport so that you can go through to the Turkish side!
We didn't have ours and they only allowed us up to the cross over to take some pictures
Hi taurean traveller
do you think 50 Euros / person is cheap for Nicosia
day trip? can i find cheaper offer when i am there
in larnaca?
Thanks alot
Hi there,
I cannot recommend a tour agency for a day trip to Nicosia, however I can recommend that you go to Nicosia either by a shared Taxi, or the local buses.Find all info in my Cyprus and Larnaca Tips. You will find phone numbers and rich information. It will cost you nothing, and you will be taken to the centre of Nicosia. From there it is minutes walk to everywhere centrally, even to the boarders if you wish to visit. Visit Laiki agora. Sorry for delay in answering I am in Kenya right now. I just saw the questions and try to answer.
Anything else contact me.

The trip to Kamares prived to be very interesting. Kamares is the Old Aqueduct - located outside the town on the way to Limassol, about 10 kilometres from the town centre. Unless you have your own transportation, you'll need to rent bycicles to get there, or a taxi.
The Old Aqueduct is not as old as it looks, nor it dates bacl to Roman times. Yes, the style is definitely roman, but it was built in 1745 to carry water from its source. Still, it is a very nice sight to see. If you have some spare time there is a large park nearby with paths... screaming to be strolled.
Larnaka’s links with Christianity go back to the very beginning for the town's first bishop was none other than Agios Lazaros, who chose to live his `second life’ there after Jesus had raised him from the dead. This church was built in his name where, it is said that his remains were found.
The first and most popular beaches of Ayia Napa is the Nissi beach, a sandy exotic beach with crystal clear waters. It is visited mainly by clubbers and young people and at summer and gets very busy.
The Turks built the form as it is today in 1625. They built it upon the older Ventians foundations which were still in place. It now contains some details on the history of Kition and also some of the findings from the excavation of Hala Sultan Tekke.
