Bus from hospital

by ayiakiriaki

Is there a public bus service from Limassol Hospital to near the old harbour area, where I know I can catch a bus to Paphos? If so, how do I find the timetable?

Re: Bus from hospital

You wuld be better using one of the "shared taxis" which are really minibuses. If you phone them they will pick you up anywhere in the place of departure and deliver you in the place of arrival. Not much more expensive than large buses and a lot more convenient.

As planxty says you can take a taxi. You won't pay much...I believe not more than 5 to 7 euros maximum. If you do get one,why not ask him directly the cost to take you there so show that you are sure of what you want. I was there 10 days ago, and this bus you mention that goes to Paphos leaves from opposite the old Hospital in Limassol. I was so happy to hear that the cost from Paphos to Limassol was just 3 euros! It has become very popular with tourists.

- 3 km west of Kourion, on the road to Paphos.
Another of the major archaeological sights on the island. From 8BC to 4AD this was where the cult of Apollo found their spiritual home. Part of the temple has been reconstructed and excavations have found baths, pilgrim halls and a holy precinct.

KEO Winery Tour

by gigina

KEO is the largest drinks manufacturer on the island. In the space of about half an hour we were shown the cellars of the heavy sweet Commanderia, where a third of each barrelful is retained as the mana or mother ferment for the next cycle. The tasting session proved to be a wonderful opportunity to familiarise ourselves with Cypriot wine types.
