I stayed at this whole 2 times but this was 13 years ago.
The hotel is in the city walls of the old city of Nicosia actually. It is a contemporary hotel, contradicting to its ancient neighbourhood.
It is about 12 minute walk from the shopping area and business centre where one can find restaurants and bars.
Unique Quality: To be honest I found this hotel quite expensive for the facilities offered. It has nothing luxurious in it! The room was not very spacious either, but it was clean and there were fresh clean towels changed daily. The bathroom was small with not much light or a window.
The contents of the mini bar were overpriced.
I wonder how many people buy these things, or how old they are. I have this thought every time I see a mini bar in a room!
There is an internet access in the room, however you have to pay for it.
The manager of the hotel is running it himself along with the staff at the reception who are courteous and helpful.
I had a comfortable stay, but I still think the hotel is very expensive for what it offers!
Tip: After all these years the hotel has been renovated the rooms look way better nowadays but still they are really small and not functional at all.
In Nicosia we chose a nice hotel, the classic hotel, for its location - a few hundred metres from the busy streets of south Nicosia and also a few hudred metres from the Ledra Palce checkpoint that leads to north Nicosia.
Unique Quality: The hotel is modern and functional and rooms are quite cosy, with all comforts. We chose a room at the back, to avoid the noisy cypriot street traffic, but even at the back it was fairly noisy, even at night. We paid about 100 euros for a double.
