Catacombs - Ayia Solomoni
by egonwegh
There's a well here. According to local tradition the water can cure diseases of the eye ...
People come here and tie pieces of cloth on a nearby tree. This tradition is much the same as the one near my own town of Nijmegen, where people tie handkerchiefs on the branches of a tree next to the chapel of St. Walrick (on the road to Overasselt) to be freed from fever.

When you are in Paphos and are looking for a place to go out in the evening or just hang out in daytime, try the PitStop bar. There are numerous pubs and bars in Paphos, as one would expect from a tourist place, but the reasons I chose this one are: 1) very friendly and funny staff and 2) very competitive prices.
Stop at the PitStop and recharge your batteries :))
PS: Don't be put off by their rather ugly website-they are really a bunch of nice people :) No dress code required

Paphos or Limasol Waterpakrs
by wkdblonde
Especially Limmasol with it's giant orange bubble. Had many a great time, watch your feet though as there were a few jagged edges, and the flumes tended to scratch! Also not so many lifeguards on duty, so as long as you are looking out for each other it's fine. I'd say its more for the young and young hearted, but not for children.
