Nice place off the beaten track

My kids stayed here over Christmas. My son and his friends had a 3 bed room with it's own shower and toilet, sharing the main kitchen in the hostel. My daughter and her boyfriend had a twin room sharing the bathroom and kitchen with two other rooms.

The rooms were clean and pleasant, set around a courtyard which would be lovely for sitting outside in the summer. They were happy with the accomodation though in the last few hours of their stay a group of Spanish speakers took the rooms in the block my daughter was in and became quite annoying with loud singing and chattering.

Unique Quality: The hostel is in Palmovka, and this is reflected in the price/quality combination. I could have found somewhere as cheap in the city centre, but it would have not been as nice. It may put some people off, but in reality, the hostel is a few minutes walk from Palmovka metro or the tram stop, and if you have a transport ticket for the duration of your stay it is cheap and easy to get into the city - about 15 minutes to the centre. If you plan late night entertainment, make sure you understand the night tram routes too.

A: "You validate it once and then it is good for the 24/72 hours on all public transport whether metro, bus or tram."
