Security in this hotel is not good. The reception is too far from the front door and staff do not know who is coming in and out. We woke up one morning to find a large individual going through one of our bags in our room! After chasing him down the stairs and confirming that he had not taken anything, he made his escape through the front door. he knew his way around.
Staff were not interested in our experience. My advice is Lock Your Door At All Times!
Unique Quality: It's a standard cheap hotel. No frills. The TV didn't have a remote and only one channel was available. The sink was choked and it took three days to get it fixed.
What do you expect for the price?
Directions: Shabby district, badly lit at night, like much of Prague but cheap food and beer.
Stayed here for 3 nights last December, was lovely and warm. Brekky not bad at all. Rooms clean and good shower. There is a nice local pub at the end of the street, six of us drank here late one night, had several rounds, total was about £15, good atmosphere there. Is about a 15 min walk to Wenceslas square. Double rm was about £35 a night. Booked over net.
Directions: see map & photo. Think there may be two amadeus hotels in prague, so check address.
