A charming small hotel near square.
I stayed in this small, 12-room hotel with a group in November, 2004, and the rooms of this 4-story building were full of charm, characteristic of old Prague. The breakfast area of the ground floor is actually a small antique shop. The breakfast was continental, but very adequate. The hotel is literally a 5-minute walk to the main square and many sites. There is no elevator so it could be a long haul up to room on the 4th floor when you're carrying luggage up the old winding staircase. The "attic" room is especially nice with the traditional exposed timbers. The hotel was immaculate and "fresh" smelling, but the water pressure was sporadic in the morning when taking a shower. The management explained that since the whole 12-room hotel was booked with my group and taking showers in the morning at the same time, this challenged their water pressure as they said that this is not normally the case. I'd certainly consider staying here again!
