Nice hotel
I stayed there for three nights. It is a nice, pretty new hotel with nice rooms and free Wifi (though a bit slow at times). Very helpfull and friendly staff. No restaurant present, but it is located about 2 mins walking from the city (Wenceslaus square). Price/quality/location mix was pretty ok I think...
Unique Quality: Nearby the city centre and subway station.

FINE TOURIST BASE
AS WITH SO MANY SERVICE PROVIDERS IN PRAGUE THE RECEPTION STAFF ARE EFFICIENT BUT NOT OUTGOING AND SO , IF ONE IS NOT USED TO THE 'PRAGUE EXPERIENCE' , BOOKING IN IS A LITTLE OFF-PUTTING. HOWEVER ONCE TRULY INSIDE THEN THE HOTEL, WHICH APPEARS TO BE FAIRLY NEW IS VERY GOOD. THE DECOR, FURNISHINGS AND GENERAL ATMOSPHERE IS HIGH QUALITY FUNCTIONAL RATHER THAN LUXURIOUS AND, AT THE VERY REASONABLE RATES CHARGED , EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY. THE CLEANLINESS OF BOTH THE ROOM I OCCUPIED AND THE PUBLIC AREAS COULD NOT BE FAULTED. AT NO TIME DURING MY STAY DID I FEEL ANYTHING OTHER THAN RELAXED . THE BREAKFAST PROVIDED WHILST WIDE ON CHOICE WAS OTHERWISE BASIC AND , EVEN AS AN EARLY BIRD, I FOUND IT NONE TOO WARM. BE AWARE OF ONE'S LIKELY FELLOW GUESTS WHO WILL SWIFTLY REDUCE THE BUFFET IN A HALE AND HEARTY MANNER NOT LONG AFTER 7.00 AM. ONCE USED TO THE ATTITUDE OF THE RECEPTION STAFF I FOUND THEM HELPFUL AND HAD NO COMPLAINTS. ALTOGETHER THE ARCHIBALD CITY PROVIDES A RELAXING BASE FROM WHICH TO ENJOY A TOURIST'S (OR BUSINESS ) STAY IN PRAGUE.

Standard, no more than can be expected.
The hotel gives all it promises to give but nothing more than that. The lobby is quiet and there is no atmosphere, in fact everything I can say about this hotel would be that there is nothing to complain about but nothing to write home about either. There is free computer access. The location is about 5 minutes from Wensleslas Square, on the other side of the Square from the Old Town. More suited to business travelers. The price is only good if you get the early booking discount.
