The best Hotel I styed in Prague
This lovely hotel is situated little bit far from the very center but the conecton to the city is excellent.
Everyting in the hotel is new and modern, which makes it the heaven for those who like contemporary accommodation.
Beautiful and very spacious rooms, nice and even more spacius bathroom, very kind staff, excellnt breakfast...,all of that made my stay GREAT.
The price below was provided as a special internet rate.
Unique Quality: I loved everything but if I have to choose something, it would be the bathroom with fantastc shower. The provided bathrobe was also a very nice detail.

Debating between Praha 1 hotel and Praha 7 hotel
I am debating between the Tulip Inn Terminus in Praha 1 and Art Hotel Prague in Praha 7. I have seen a few comments about the Tulip Inn being by a noisy highway - however it is modern and near the City Center. On the other hand, the Art Hotel Prague looks really nice - but it may be located too far from Old Town. My main dilemma - is Praha 7 and the Art Hotel too far from Old Town and the main attractions?

It depends on whether you are going to stay out very late in the night so that the trams have stopped going up to Praha-7. Otherwise the hotel is reputed to be very good and it is quiet up there than in the city centre.
For daily entry, you can easily buy a travelcard for the trams and get about very easily.

The Tulip is also good but is it really that near to the main railway station and the busy Wilsonova road? It should be air-con and pretty sound proofed.

Thank you Kettleman. From your response, I assume that the Tulip Inn Terminus in Praha 1 is within walking distance to most major sites, correct?

Yes, anywhere in Praha-1 is.

I stayed outside of Praha 1 once and regretted it. (I like to stay out until 1 or so sucking down all the great beer) Nothing is easier than walking home. When you look at the map, sometimes Praha 7 doesn't look too far, but beware!
Ear-plugs will cure any street noise you may encounter!
