    • I stayed here in 2001 when it cost only about US$60 night for a double. Now it costs about $150.

    It's located in the Florenc section, which is about a 15 minute walk east of Old Town Square

    Clean and comfortable. Free breakfast, but I never made it up for breakfast (too much nightlife).

    A true horror. Avoid it. Old old old. Walls falling apart. Uncomfortable. Ugh!!!!!

    Hotel Axa was a pleasant surprise with newly renovated rooms; nice, clean and comfortable. The room had standard facilities as telephone and cable TV, but I didn’t use them. The staff at the reception was very helpful and friendly.

    The breakfast buffet was included in the price. Not the largest buffet I have ever seen, but absolutely OK.

    The hotel is located in Praha 1 in the centre of Prague. There are two train stations within walking distance (Namesti Republicy and Florenc) and it takes about 45-60minutes with bus/train from the airport. The Powder Tower and the beginning of the Old City is only 15minutes walk from the hotel – perfect location.

    There is a bar in connection to the hotel. During the daytime it’s a normal bar, but from 8pm the bar is turned into a nightclub (for gentlemen). We had no problems, but don’t know if there is much noise in the rooms closest to the nightclub…
