3600 Kc or $115 :: Double room #6 on the top floor. 20 x 20 feet, beamed ceiling, 3 windows facing West and South. Separate, private bathroom with a shower. No bath, no Fridge, needs more closets. Yes TV, sun, cross ventilation, mostly quiet. Not a vista but good views. Something new for breakfast every day with good food, clean sheets & towels every day. Worth the extra price for the very friendly staff, travel help and beutiful decor in the former residences of the prolific, Prague architect familiy. Calm garden terrace in back on the river Certovka.
Certovka - Watermill

Certovka (the Devil's Stream) with the Priory watermill at Kampa Island, where you can enjoy the view from the small park on the Moldau (Vltava) and Old Town (Stare Mesto).
It's perfect place for romantic walks.

as you cross charles bridge you will see kampa island. it is separated from the little quarter by the certovka (devil's stream) pictured is the grand prior's mill, one three mills on the certovka.

Certovka is the canal which separates Kampa island from the mainland, and this was one of my favourite areas of the city. This photo was taken from the end of Charles Bridge by Mala Strana.
Old water wheel

Between the Lesser Town and Kampa island there runs a stream called Certovka, Devilýs stream. The proximity of the small, easily flowing stream made the people build watermills and one of the water wheels still remains.
