The hotel is formed of two parts, a modern builing and an older traditional building. It is well sited for The National Theatre and the Bethlehem Church areas.
It is in a quiet back street. nevertheless there is a good selection of restraunts and pubs nearby.
I was in the older building. the room was great with penty of space.
Cloister Inn Hotel Prague: Convenient located Hotel

Cloister Inn is located in the center of Prague. It's only 3 mins to Charles Bridge and 4 mins to the Old Town. The staff and friendly, and they have free internet access at the lobby. They renovated in January 2006. The place looks new and clean.
The rooms are roomy for European standard. The bathroom is medium size and they have a rack warmer to warm your clothes. Booking this hotel, it comes with a breakfast. It's a good breakfast. They also have shuttle service to the airport. But you have to pay for it.
Rooms are large, clean and slightly spartan but a welcome relief to some of the other cramped rooms in Europe and britain (I think it used to be a nunnery). Breakfast was excellent and you can walk to everywhere - 2 minutes to old town if that. Staff were very freindly and helpful as I had a small child and got sick. We got cheap rooms on wotif.com for about 80 euro. Cheap eating around the corner at small authentic czech resteraunts/bars.
Location is excellent and it has spacious air conditioned rooms. Liftsas well which is great for lugging bags. They also have family rooms which we stayed the 3rd night and these wold be great for large families.
Loved the location for the hote, it is literally minutes away from the Charles Bridge / Old Town sq / Wenceslas Sq. The room we had (109) was a triple and very large in comparison to most hotel rooms, the shower was absolutely huge (could have got three or four people in it). The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would heartly recommend this hotel to anyone. The restaurant next door (U Ampezonu) was fantastic and worthy of a visit .. as well as the restaurant Stoleti at the end of the street.
