Booked for 4 nights, with being a small hotel was worried of over booking, but there were no concerns all paperwork was waiting and the room ready, plus I like it when you pay at the end of your visit, We had a large room 60Sq. metres on the top floor with views of 3 sides of the hotel,
The Room was set out as an open suite with bedroom, sitting area and bathroom, plus lots of space for cloths etc. plenty of hot water and heating. Breakfast was basic but more than enough for choice, There is an evening restaurant but not used as it closes at 8. Small bar area again not used.
Reception was very helpful, plenty of information etc.
Only a short walk away from bars, and cafes and restaurants but be watchful of the prices they charge, found some little gems in the area so do your homework, 10 minute walk to the Charles Bridge and other sights,
Overall a cheerful experience and will use again and recommend this little gem of a hotel to friends and family.
Unique Quality: the peace and quiet but close to restaraunts and bars etc.

I stayed at the Hotel Constans - which is located in the Mala Strana near the US Embassy Location was great for exploring the Mala Strana and the Castle area - it was only a 5 minute walk to Charles Bridge. The room was huge - queen size bed, couch, wet bar, shower, great bath tub, bidet - lots of amenities. The view was not so great - I looked over a construction pit, which in 6 months will be a garden. I was concerned about noise but the double glazed windows and an agreement between the hotel and construction crew limited the noise and besides, it encouraged me to get out and about. The staff was eager to please and was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again

Great food and at a reasonable price at Hotel Constans. We were the only people in the restaurant and stumbled across the hotel whilst in the Mala Strana district. It was a little low on atmosphere but good service certainly made up for it. Standard Czech fare. The steak enjoyed by Mrs Davesut looked great and my own chicken dish was really tasty. Desserts were straight out of the fridge.

It was quite a good one and not so far from the center just about 5 min' by metro.

as a matter of fact i am looking for something in the center 4-5 stars - dont want the metro.
i want a nice hotel that i can walk in the evening or at night in the center and walk to the hotel
One of My friends went there a month after i returned and i think he stayed at the Hillton for a fairly nice price... worth a checking !
There are plenty of websites with all Prague Hotels... should be very easy...and some of the big names are indeed in the center and saves you the use of the Metro although its not a big deal really.
Any comments about Hotel Constans-the rooms, suites, baths, breakfast, etc.?
