well equiped hotel
I have nothing but good things to say about Corinthia Towers. The service was great, the breakfast was top notch and the staff was very accommodating. I recommend the hotel because it was as close to the metro system you could get and had lots of interesting things like a pub/bowling alley in the basement.
Unique Quality: Great oriental restaurant on site.
Directions: Vysehrad metro station all you need to know.
it was amazing!
I had a very comfortable stay at Corinithia. Got to spend 5 days in Prague here. The staff is very friendly and the room clean. Visit the restaurant in the 2nd flour with very good local cuisine!
What a place!
Not at all the normal type of accommodation for me.....but through Simon we had a bit of a hook up....well a great hook up.
This is a great 5 star hotel just outside the city center. Great location for the subway - which was right across the street - and for 60 cents you could get into town in about 10 minutes.
We stayed in a suite which was outfitted with some welcome food, fruits and champagne.....nice start to the weekend. We were also on the executive floor and had access to an internet lounge as well as a socila area with brilliant views of the city. Included with the room was happy hour in the lounge with free booze - no beer though - and canapes, fruit and other munchies. 5-8pm nightly. On the main floor of the hotel was a nice restaurant and bar....downstairs is a bowling ally and pub!
Have stayed at this hotel a couple of times, firstly on a late breaks rate for leisure and second time for a hoteliers conference. First impressions, nice hotel, clean throughout and very friendly & helpful staff.
Both times got a room on a higher floor, which was great with the views, especially in the evening and for the second trip, we had almost 300 hoteliers there for a global conference so had 3 days of conferencing, with events held there and was very, very impressed. Food was superb for every meal, great choices, and very well organised considering the sheer volume they were catering for, for every meal and every break. Always little treats during the tea breaks. Conference rooms were slightly dated but that is only a tiny niggle. To have that many industry insiders in your property is a very hard task, as we generally will notice things which are going on behind the scenes when guests won't always pick up on them as we know what we are looking for! The rooms were also slightly dated but for service alone, the hotel deserves it's 5 stars!
Monumental building above Nusle valley
Room was air-conditioned, equipped with minibar, safe, alarm clock, direct-dial phone and RJ11 internet connection for computer... Fantastic swimming pool is situated on the 26th floor - great Panoramic window view of Prague!
Unique Quality: Hotel stands above one of Pragues walleys with breathtaking, panoramic views of this beautiful city. Hotel is only 2 stops from the city centre by subway (Metro) and perfectly located adjacent to the Prague Congress Centre.
Directions: Pankrac District
Good Czech hotel
On first impressions you can easily fall in love, but rooms will disappoint. However, other facilities like Sauna, Steam room, Swimming pool make up for this.
I booked Club executive. You get a room on the 22nd floor, with a choice of having breakfast at the Club lounge or with other hotel guests on the 2nd floor. Unless you wish to eat in a morgue, use latter. It has more choice & atmosphere.
The hotel bars are nice. Beer is reasonable, spirits pricey. Between 6-8pm Club Executive offer complimentary drinks & canapes, so take advantage. We had dinner at the Hotel restaurants. Food at the Bowling Bar was good, and so was the Orinetal Rickshaw, as long as you are not vegetarian.
A word of warning though, on the metro during rush hour. A burly man pushed against me, but it had no effect, because I'm also quite big. He did it again, at which point I realised it was deliberate. I felt a hand slipping into my front pocket, which I grabbed and pushed away. When I confronted him, a Czech woman began remonstrating at me in Czech, which I did not understand. But after pointing at her kids, I assumed she meant that I had scared them. I sincerely apologised, but all I was trying to do was avoid being mugged. The man who had tried to steal my wallet started shouting at me. He explained in broken English that he had only fallen on me because of the train moving. Also insisted his hand in my pocket was accidental. The latter is my anology. Strange when you consider nobody else was falling, and the train was hardly moving, coupled with the fact I had people falling against me from opposite directions. Normally you would expect them to fall in the same direction. At the next stop, the man who pushed me & man who had his hand halfway down my front pocket got off. None of the man looked native. One was of oriental apearance, and one looked mediteranean.
All in all Prague is a wonderful place for a weekend getaway.
nice hotel next to metro station
we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. the hotel was crowded but the service was ok. rooms were comfortable. breakfast was good. dinner at the italian restaurant was not very satisfying. metro station was next door so it was easy to reach the center. you can get the metro tickets from the hotel's concierge. one of the tallest hotel in prague and as it is located next to congress building it could be nice for businessmen and women.
Unique Quality: inside pool, fitness center, massage, billiard, lobby bar and restaurants.
Directions: next to metro station and congress building
The best hotel!!!
This is an amazing hotel. the rooms are really big and the service is excelent. The staff are friendly and their food are great!!! You've also go a stunning view over the city from your room.
Unique Quality: Accessible for the handicapped
Phone in room
Radio in room
TV in room
Video player in room
WC/shower en suite
Directions: 1.5 km from the city centre, 2.5 km from the Hlavni Nadrazi railway station (SubWay stop Vysehrad).

Nearest Airport: 20 km from Prague International Ruzyne Airport
This was our hotel for the honeymoon.
5 stars hotel with a lot of good things , good service , great breakfast and more.
If you want to walk to the center it is a little bit far (40-60 minutes) but you can use the nearest metro station Vyshrad and get to your destination in less than 10 minutes.
The room was big , hot water in the bathroom , the view was very beautiful (although it was 6 floor only).
In the morning the breakfast was huge ! eggs , fruits , vegetables , potatoes , water , soda water , cakes , juices.
This breakfast can make you full almost all day !
I think that this is one of the most beautiful hotels in prague and you will enjoy there.
Although it is a little bit far from the center the metro is very close and fast.
For people that wants to enjoy a good hotel and not a cheap hostel although it is not very expensive !
It cost us less than 100USD per day (i cant make the exact calculation because the whole deal cost us 1000USD and it was 7 nights in the hotel and a flight from Israel).
Unique Quality: To my opinion this hotel was great !.
When i am traveling i am going to simple hotels or b&b and that was the first time i went to such hotel outside Israel.
I enjoyed the food and the view , the restarants and the service.
Directions: Outside the Vyshrad Metro Station on the left side (if you are coming from the center)
Not a 5 Star
I would have to agree with the reviews about the hotel appearing very impressive initially then for the rooms to let one down. The reception hall was very plush, the Reception staff and the Concierge were professional and helpful without being over the top. My expectations were high, I requested a room high up but only received an 8th floor room, being told that the hotel was fully booked. On entering the room, all impressions of a 5 star(or possibly even a 4 star rating) were dispelled. The room was at best, adequate. The carpet was old and tired. The furnishing was drab and as for the bathroom, I have seen better bathrooms in some 2 & 3 star hotels.
Did not try the restaurants, breakfast was very good.
A word of caution for anyone going there with children. The T.V. has 4 pay per view channels of which 2 are hardcore porn. The channels are on display for about 30 seconds with a small box in the middle stating that it is a pay per view channel, with enough showing around it to leave nothing to the imagination.
Unique Quality: The hotel is at a distance from Prague centre though the metro station is literally outside the front entrance. Metro passes are available at the Concierge desk and great value at 12 CK which is about 30 pence in the U.K. It is the best way to travel in Prague.
still good value
i first visted this hotel a few years ago so on my reading about the person who was not inpressed i was abit worried, but all was ok.maybe more a 4 star than 5,but the room was clean comfortable and still avery good and large breakfast buffet.all the staff were freindly for a hotel like this. the metro station is right outside the front door 5 mins into the city center.
Unique Quality: swimming pool bowling alley
I really liked this hotel, by far the nicest one I've ever stayed at in terms of fancyness. Probably way out of my league but there was this weekend-package from Iceland and the total price was very affordable.
I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone, however I haven't stayed at many hotels in that category so I lack the comparison. It's location is a little out of the center but it took less then 5 minutes to go there with the metro, which stopped litterary in the basement of the hotel.
Unique Quality: The breakfast buffet was magnificent. Really fancy with most kinds of breakfast styles you could imagine. Another great quality is the views from the rooms, they're great.
I heard that the Corinthia company was owned by Lybians and was therefore not popular amongst Americans, does anyone know if that's true?
Excellent 5 Star
I had a very comfortable stay at Corinithia. Got to spend my first 2 days in Prague here. The location is good only 2 stops from central Prague and its located adjacent to Vysehrad. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean.
Unique Quality: Great location and very friendly staff.
There is an Italian restaurant as wekk as a Chinese restaruant on the first floor. Breakfast is in both restaruants ( buffet like)
There is a bowling center & a ribs&burguers restaurant below ground flood.
Excellent hotel, excellent service and a great place to stay.
We were fortunate to have known the previous Marketing Manager of the hotel who managed to get us a very good deal.
We stayed in the executive suites and enjoyed a spectacular view of Prague from our hotel room.
The breakfasts were really special.
Unique Quality: Very friendly staff and all round excellent service.
