On first impressions you can easily fall in love, but rooms will disappoint. However, other facilities like Sauna, Steam room, Swimming pool make up for this. I booked Club executive. You get a room on the 22nd floor, with a choice of having breakfast at the Club lounge or with other hotel guests on the 2nd floor. Unless you wish to eat in a morgue, use latter. It has more choice & atmosphere. The hotel bars are nice. Beer is reasonable, spirits pricey. Between 6-8pm Club Executive offer complimentary drinks & canapes, so take advantage. We had dinner at the Hotel restaurants. Food at the Bowling Bar was good, and so was the Orinetal Rickshaw, as long as you are not vegetarian. A word of warning though, on the metro during rush hour. A burly man pushed against me, but it had no effect, because I'm also quite big. He did it again, at which point I realised it was deliberate. I felt a hand slipping into my front pocket, which I grabbed and pushed away. When I confronted him, a Czech woman began remonstrating at me in Czech, which I did not understand. But after pointing at her kids, I assumed she meant that I had scared them. I sincerely apologised, but all I was trying to do was avoid being mugged. The man who had tried to steal my wallet started shouting at me. He explained in broken English that he had only fallen on me because of the train moving. Also insisted his hand in my pocket was accidental. The latter is my anology. Strange when you consider nobody else was falling, and the train was hardly moving, coupled with the fact I had people falling against me from opposite directions. Normally you would expect them to fall in the same direction. At the next stop, the man who pushed me & man who had his hand halfway down my front pocket got off. None of the man looked native. One was of oriental apearance, and one looked mediteranean. All in all Prague is a wonderful place for a weekend getaway. Leave a Comment Theme: HotelPrice: US$120-180 » Currency Converter

This was our hotel for the honeymoon. 5 stars hotel with a lot of good things , good service , great breakfast and more. If you want to walk to the center it is a little bit far (40-60 minutes) but you can use the nearest metro station Vyshrad and get to your destination in less than 10 minutes. The room was big , hot water in the bathroom , the view was very beautiful (although it was 6 floor only). In the morning the breakfast was huge ! eggs , fruits , vegetables , potatoes , water , soda water , cakes , juices. This breakfast can make you full almost all day ! I think that this is one of the most beautiful hotels in prague and you will enjoy there. Although it is a little bit far from the center the metro is very close and fast. For people that wants to enjoy a good hotel and not a cheap hostel although it is not very expensive ! It cost us less than 100USD per day (i cant make the exact calculation because the whole deal cost us 1000USD and it was 7 nights in the hotel and a flight from Israel).
To my opinion this hotel was great !. When i am traveling i am going to simple hotels or b&b and that was the first time i went to such hotel outside Israel. I enjoyed the food and the view , the restarants and the service. Have stayed at this hotel a couple of times, firstly on a late breaks rate for leisure and second time for a hoteliers conference. First impressions, nice hotel, clean throughout and very friendly & helpful staff. Both times got a room on a higher floor, which was great with the views, especially in the evening and for the second trip, we had almost 300 hoteliers there for a global conference so had 3 days of conferencing, with events held there and was very, very impressed. Food was superb for every meal, great choices, and very well organised considering the sheer volume they were catering for, for every meal and every break. Always little treats during the tea breaks. Conference rooms were slightly dated but that is only a tiny niggle. To have that many industry insiders in your property is a very hard task, as we generally will notice things which are going on behind the scenes when guests won't always pick up on them as we know what we are looking for! The rooms were also slightly dated but for service alone, the hotel deserves it's 5 stars! Leave a Comment Theme: Hotel
