Fox Aparthotel Prague

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on July 23, 2007

I stayed with 2 friends in the Fox apartments Prague accomodations and it was
wonderful! The place was extremely clean and safe and VERY spacious. There
were 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and a nice size bathroom. The person who runs
these apartments is one of the nicest and most accomodating I have ever met.
Also, there's a metro stop not even a 5-minute walk away that takes about
10-15 minutes to get wherever you would want to be in Prague. It's a
wonderful place.

Unique Quality: Friendly Australian owner, cheap, central, clean.
web site is www.prague-holiday-apartments.com

Directions: Near Old Fortress, church, park, shops, restaurants, bars, near river and public transport.

We stayed here Mid October 04 for 4 nights in a 3 Bed Apartment - and I have to say I would certainly return and also recommend it. We booked through the Internet and spoke to the owner, Mike, an Australian on the phone and didnt even have to send a deposit!. This guy was brilliant, going out of way to help us. EG/ As Man Utd fans travelling for the Sparta Prague game, once we had tracked down tickets for the game from a guy in Prague, he even took time out to meet the guy and pay for the tickets out of his own pocket till we arrived! The Apartment newly refurbished, in a quiet area. and although in Prague 2 it was never a problem with trams running from literally outside the Apartment building to the Charles Bridge, 5 stops in 10 minutes, including 24 hours. With a couple of good 24 hr bars close by it was the perfect location. We paid 1550 Crowns per night (About £30)and couldnt fault it. PS - If you go take Mike's wife Helena (she's czech) some Mint Sauce & Tomato Chutney!

5 days in a fully equipped flat , from where we could easily go to Prague center and monuments (tram/metro, etc...).
I recommend it form the price and situation. A bit noisy (train beside).

Unique Quality: Nice owner, very obliging.
2 min from tram stop.
lot of restaurants/shops.

Directions: At the foot of Vysehrad Fortress
