It would seem that the Globus is similar to other large hotels in this area which cater mostly for large groups of teenagers/young adults on school trips etc. There was four huge coaches parked-up in the hotel drive, with lots of beer-swilling young males milling about the forecourt, hanging out of the room windows and shouting at one-another etc, etc.
So, in conclusion, perhaps The Globus Hotel would not be the wisest of choices, particularly during summer, if you want a quiet and peaceful stay. If you do book, keep your fingers crossed that they will be full on your arrival and that you get re-allocated to the City Club Hotel, which basically is an upgrade.
