Golden Tulip Diplomat Hotel

High brow

It was very pleasant in the rooms and lobby. There is not a lot around it to see or eat. It is 6 blocks from Prague castle and 1 mile from the river. The underground station is only 2 blocks away.

Unique Quality: Good large eating area.

The hotel convenient for movement from an airport

Bus of No.119 is taken from the Prague international airport, and it is immediately in a terminal Djvkca station side.
This hotel is new,the room is clean, and modernistic equipment, such as amenity and PC, is ready .
The room imrressed me, is perfect.

Unique Quality: Breakfast is a buffet style abundantly.
This hotel also has Bar and tea drinking room.
However, correspondence of the staff was bad, and even if the massage by the reserved will arbitrarily canceled.So I protested against it, from the staffs, there was not apology of it.
This is the most regrettable thing in this hotel.

Czech Hospitality

The Golden Tulip quality

A very nice hotel near the airport with a metro station in front of it. A great breakfast, and a very good service. I recommend this hotel to all the travels that want to have a nice place to stay with a lot of confort.

Not so far from the center

This hotel was very near to the Czechoslovakian trade center thats why I use to stay many times in that hotel.I think that I was very happy and than I stayed again and again .
Although the hotel look like its far from the hotel but you are only 50 m to metro and after 4 stops you are at the center of the city .( Wenceslaw square or street)
This is very convenient hotel for Prague.

Good 4 star hotel

The Hotel is very Much a 4 star hotel. The staff are friendy and the rooms are a good size.
Although the hotel is a little way out of the centre of town don't let that put you off! The Metro station is only 50 metres to the right of the hotel as you leave it. One bit of advice is to get your ticket from the hotel reception. (14K for 20 mins off travel). We bought 3 tickets each each day ,1 in on out and one if you just what to go one one stop) To get to the centre off town it's only 4 stops and it will only take about 10mins.

1 stop takes you near the castle but you would be better off walking from the hotel( the hotel can provide you with a map).
3 stops takes you to the Charles bridge
4 stops takes you to one end of Wenceslass square (Shopping high street)
5 stops takes you to the other end of Wenceslass square and the Museum.

Close to town - but not too close.

We stayed for 3 nights and were very pleased with our accommodation. Rooms, although not massive, were adequate in size, well equiped and spotlessly clean. All staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was really varied, good quality and plentiful.

I would recommend this Hotel for couples or famillies who prefer a quieter location away from the town centre. Transport links couldn't be better. Bus 119 from the airport terminates right outside the hotel and the nearest Metro stop ( Dejvicka ) is literally a one minute walk. 4 - 5 stops later and you're in the city centre.

Unique Quality: I loved the hotel's location, cleanliness, rooms and staff. The only minus point was the bar prices which were far too expensive - even for a hotel. If you're partial to a nightcap then visit the supermarket round the corner like we did.

A nice luxury hotel

Diplomat Hotel is really luxury and clean with regular service, you feel comfortable there. nice building and many facilities, but it's a little far from downtown and attractive places like Old Castle. when you walk out of the Hotel, you can't find any shop by 200m distance and this is not so good for a tourist.
