Central Hostel

Hostel Jednota is only open from the 12th July - 20 September. It's student accommodation for the rest of the year.

I stayed here September 2001 with 4 friends. We choose Jednota because of it's cheap and had a good location, off Wenceslas Square, and Hostel Imperial was full.

The rooms are very basic and clean. There were some kitchen facilities on some of the corridors. We never made it to breakfast.

None of the rooms were ensuite. The shower rooms were unisex, with a row of shower cubicles along one side of the room. The cubicles were made with translucent perspex. Which made showering interesting!

A single room costs ~ 17 euros, twin 23 euros.

There is no curfew and a 24hr check-in.

Best in Prague 2

Unique Quality: I really liked the location of this hostel. It is just few hundred yards away from Main railway station, Main Square but still location is very quite.
It is located on Opletalova, which I believed that one of the widest street in Prague. Parking is also available nearby.

Hi

There's one available hostel on www.hostelbookers.com for your required dates.

It is called "Aparthotel 20" and a bed in a 6 bed dorm costs 41 Euros per night.

There are two other hostels available for your required dates ("Hostel City Center" and "Hostel and Aparts Krakovska"), but these both require a minimum of 4 nights stay and I assume you're only wanting to book for the 2 nights you mentioned.

I can't comment on any of the properties but there are extensive reviews on the site.

I'll check a couple more sites and see if I can find anything else...

There are quite a few available on www.hostelworld.com:

Sir Toby's Hostel
Hostel City Center
Hostel Jednota
Heaven Hostel
Hostel Le Papillon
ABC Hostel

They're all available for the 30th and 31st December.

Good luck and enjoy your trip!

A: "You validate it once and then it is good for the 24/72 hours on all public transport whether metro, bus or tram."
