A clean and quiet hostel
I stayed here with my sister, sharing a twin private room. It's a new hostel and so is still clean and fresh. The decor is bright and friendly, the rooms simple but comfortable. Our room was on the first floor, which seems to be the 'quiet' floor. Double windows opened out onto a flat roof which was inaccessible from outside. This meant we could leave them wide open all night - a bonus during a very hot week in June.
There is a shower and toilet on each floor - only once did I find the shower occupied and only had to wait 5 minutes or so for my turn.
The lounge and basement are comfortable places to enjoy a few Czech beers (which are served at a small bar at reception) or to use one of the two computers with free internet access.
The kitchen, though well equipped and clean, was way too small for the number of guests, though it is so cheap to eat out in Prague it wasn't a problem for us.
We both enjoyed our stay there and would definately choose it again.
Unique Quality: The view from our room on the first floor was the back of Zizkov Hill. Just trees really, but it made it secluded and pretty, with birds hopping about on the flat roof outside.
Directions: A 15 minute walk from Florenc Metro. Under the railway lines then left up the hill to Konevova.
