I've been at Reduta jazz club, in the National Theatre area, and thought is a nice club and works very well during the week. You can drink something, listen good music and find a cool ambience. For musical programs, see their site:

Bye and enjoy Prague!
Travel Tips for Prague
Laundryland for Your Washing
by Mikebb
For those who need to do their own washing and save plenty of money it is often very hard to find a laundromat in a new city. We found Laundryland which had 10 or more washing machines and just as many driers, it also had a full time person on site who would sell the powder and give you change for the machines. They are scattered throughout Prague , but the one we used was at 71 Londynska, Praha 2, just off Anglica St, very near the underground station I P Pavlova. Trams #4 and 16 stop nearby.
Loreta
by bugulma
Loreta Church is situated on Loretansky Square, near of Strakhovsky Cloister. The place was popular in previous time among pilgrims and many people came here to pray. It is pity but it is not allowed to make pictures inside. There are many interesting painting on the ceilings. Moreover in the first floor you can enjoy the treasury of Loreta, including The Sun of Prague with 6 thousands of diamond.
Bringing Gifts
by anglosaxon
This is the 21st Century, your relatives in CZ are not expecting you to bring underwear and chocolate for them to marvel at. For a Czech woman the gift of flowers is good. For children a book (if they read your language) or a trip to a local fairground etc. For men, stick to buying a drink down the local pub unless they have a specific interest. If you are staying in a small pension etc, consider buying a small plant to give them when you checkout. The main rule here is not to be extravagent as this may cause embarrassment or obligation.
Troja
by vesna04
Troja is actually the part of Prague far from the city center. If you can spare one day this is a great place to spend it. Troja offers 3 attractions: Troja Castle, Prague ZOO and Botanical Gardens. You can buy Troja card at the entrance to the Castle wich will enable you entrance in all of these places. This is the way to save some cash if you intend to visit all of it.
Take the bus no. 112 from the metro station Nadrazi Holesovice on line C.
Boat tour is also available.
The highlight of a trip to...
by SydneyGal
The highlight of a trip to Kutna is not the bone church, however... St Barbara's Cathedral is (see pic left). This cathedral is a magnificent example of gothic architecture. And the building is huge, about 10 storeys high.
