Ladvi Digs

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on June 1, 2005

Stayed 4 nights and was great! Had a good little room with basin , window looking out. Quaint indeed.

Shared toilets and showers but relatively clean. Friendly staff. Reception till late. Own key so no lockout.

Unique Quality: Very close to Ladvi station which is the last stop on metro line C. But don't let this be a put off. Though not very close to city centre, easily accessible and less than 5 minute walk from tram and metro so after night out on booze, can conveniently get back to this place!

Directions: Alight at Ladvi station, exit and walk towards the left, cross the road and you'll come upon it.

Hostel Spus

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on November 2, 2003

I stayed 8 days in Hostel Spus. It is a basic accmodation with 1-5 bedded rooms. The bathrooms and toilets are on the floor. Some rooms have their own washbassin. It has a 24-hour reception and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I paid about 480 CZK (16 EURO) per night without breakfast (single room).

Unique Quality: Hostel Spus is situated in a grey apartment block suburb of Prague (Ladvi). The area is calm and safe and offers the possibility to see where the inhabitants of Prague live.

Directions: Hostel Spus is located about 15 mins by tram from the metro and train station Nadrazi Holesovice or about 20 mins by tram from the centre of Prague. The tram services are frequent and cheap, even in the night.
