Internet Access

if you stand at the top of Wenceslas Square, in front of the museum - to your left you will see a KFC restaurant. if you walk just a few steps past that, you will see an opening between the buildings that leads to a sort of cul-de-sac/alley.
inside this area is fairly cheap internet-access. very clean and neat, but it's internet ONLY, no coffee or anything extra (they do sell bottles of water).
when you're done with the internet, stop into the italian restaurant catty-corner across the alley. you can get a huge plate of pasta AND a glass of wine for only $4 USD!
Old Town Square

If you had time to see just one thing in Prague, then Old Town Square would be a good choice. Prague's most famous square lies at the heart of the old town and contains some of the most important buildings and monuments in the city.
Tax Refunding
by IrishFem
If you spend more than 1000kc you can claim your tax back. Shop where you see the Tax Free Shopping sign and ask for your refund cheque. When your leaving Prague simply show your receipts and passport to the customs officials and have your global refund cheques stamped. I thought that you got your forms stamped when you passed through customs but not the case. I went through customs and when l found the returns office and they told me l had to have the forms stamped outside before l went through customs. I got into the "q" again as if l was only entering the country, they stamped my passport again, got my form stamped and had to through customs again without any hassle. They will pay you in Euro if you ask or have your money refunded through your credit card. Luckly l had enough time to do all that.. and then l had a nice long beer in one of the many bars at the airport and relaxed until my flight was called.
Painting in mirror maze
by DavyJB
The mirror maze on Petrin Hill is right next to the Petrin Tower so we called in as a fun diversion to our day whilst we were there, entry was 40czk but there are limited opening times during the winter months. It only took us around 10 minutes to walk around it but the thing that really interested us was about halfway round there is a fantastic painting of the Czechs fighting the Swedish army on Charles Bridge during the 30 Years War.
Lennon Wall
by kenmerk
Visit the Lennon Wall. In the old Communist days, this was the outlet for the locals to express their views by spray painting their feelings and messages here. It was dominated by old Beatles lyrics, so hence the name...
