I've spent my 4nights/5days trip in Prague in Hotel City Centre which was fine. As a 3 star hotel (bed+breakfast) it was clean. We stayed 3 person in a room which was also large enough.
The best thing about the hotel is its location which is very close to metro and tram station. Also it is very close to Old Town Square where you would like to see many times during your stay.
The only problem was it was a little cold during the nights (considering October weather) and it can be difficult to find extra blankets (do not know why?!?!?).
Breakfasts are served between 7.00am-10.00am and you can find different cheeses, breads, cookies, jams, tea and coffee.
I don't know the exact price since my trip was all included (flight+accomodation) but still do not think it is expensive. If you are looking for a cheap, clean and easy to get hotel, give this hotel a chance.
I think this one could be the ideal accomodation for anyone who visits Prague.
This 3* hotel is clean, comfortable and nice. Nice rooms with TV, phone, bathroom with shower, a wardrobe with safe included.
Also its position is absolutely great. It's in the centre of the town (Stare Mesto), 5 minutes from the Old Town Square, or from the Jewish town, 3 minutes from Nà Prikope and Vaclavskè Namesti. It's also possible, walking through Revolucni, to reach the Vltava river and crossing the Stefanikuv bridge to take a walk in Letnà. It's 150m far from the metro station and there's a tram stop just crossing the street.
Unique Quality: Just crossing the street there's a big shopping mall (KOTVA) where you can find almost everything, from knives to clothes, from bikes to a bakery, a photo lab and shoes.
In the underground there's a big market (ALBERT), too.
Also a tex-mex 24/7 fast food (PICANTE) it's in the ground level, with the possibility to have access directly from the hotel lifter hall or to eat in the hotel's garden, too
Directions: Once you are in Namesti Republiky you can't miss.
It's just in front of the Kotva shopping mall
City Centre was a very nice hotel near all services of Prague. 10 minutes walk to the Old Town and to the shopping street. A great supermarket just across the street.
The staff was nice, and the rooms were clean and had good facilities. Breakfast was great too!
Directions: Across the street from shopping centre Kotva.
