Great location
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We arrived around 21:00 and were greated by a very nice and friendly receptionist. The hotel is located about 10 min walk from the Austronomical clock and 2 min walk from the Powder Tower. It's also very close to the main train station which was great for taking the AE bus to the airport (see my tip on that in trasportation).
The rooms are ok, very basic with bathtub/shower, there is no air conditioning in the rooms. The breakfast was ok, enough to start the day.
At first we got room 214 (twin room) with a window to the inner part of the hotel that made the room boilibg hot eventhough it was cold outside, we than changed the room (318) which was much better and eventhough the window faced a construction site, we didn't mind because we left the room in the morning and came back late at night.
I would recomend this hotel for those who need a bed to sleep after a long day of exploring the city.
Unique Quality: The hotel is in a great location. very close to all the major sites and public transportation. Safe to walk in the night, surrounded with bars, cafes and minimarkets.
Good price for what you get- we payed 220$ for 4 nights with breakfast included.

Unique Quality: This isn't the fanciest place we stayed on our trip, but once we got used to the angled ceilings, all-in-one bathroom and crabby desk clerk, we actually found it to be quite adequate. Located right next to the Masarykoyo train station, it's only a few blocks west of the Municipal house, then only a few blocks more to the old town square.

About Prague!!
Hello people!! im going to Prague on Dec. 30 till Jan 02. had anyone spend New Year eves there, how is everything, best places to go, any dress code for the parties?? I ll stay in Hotel City Inn, Prague 1, some advices about this hotel and location?, please just tell me everything u can, thanks a lot guys!!!

I spent a NY night in Prague but I was lucky to spend it in Belgian Ambassador's residence where there was a big party
From my own experience I can say - try to be away from Staromestki namesti because it'll be overcrouded.
And there is also a tradition to pure champaign directrly on people so if u don't want your coat to be wet with champaign, better choose another place

btw you should make a reservation quite in advance because closer to NY it'll be a big problem and quite expensive
