Hi,

1. Highly recommended, it might be sold out on certain dates/times.

2,3 there are several, but best is to use "Student Agency" which has comfortable buses and it is express bus with only one stop on-route.
Book here: http://zluty.cz/online/Booking
Cost is 180 CZK (less than 6 EUR) one way.
4. They leave from several bus terminals. Student Agency bus mentioned above leaves from "Na Knizeci" terminal- it is right next to "Andel" metro station.
5. Yes, Student Agency bus has luggage compartments. Other companies might have limited space, but all should take luggage.

Travel Tips for Prague

Coffee heaven

by tweetycaro

For us Belgians, Prague is very cheap, so we had a lot of coffee breaks. We checked out 'COFFEE HEAVEN' it's a bit like Starbucks, but less expensive i think. I loved the White Chocolate Mocha, for 74 CZK. I don't know if there is more than one bar in prague but we went to Na Prikope, next you New Yorker.

So much to see will come back...

by sharonn

So much to see will come back to this. In the meantime see VT Pages on Prague for some excellant suggestions on what to do and see. It was quite a moving experience to pay tribute to Franz Kafka (but I do not think I shall be visiting any more grave yards on my next holiday:))

Skoda, car of the Czech Republic

by hayim

Nothing special, it's just good to know. Most of the cars in Prague is the Skoda. You can see a lot of old ones (like in the picture), but even more new ones. However, Skoda car is now property of Volkswagen, and the old Skoda factory makes other transport tools (see the link).

Football

by ratherton

In April 2002, I went to see the Prague derby match between Sparta and Slavia. It was played on a Friday afternoon and we took a taxi from the town centre to the Stadium. The match tickets were about £3 and beer was 20p. For a derby match, it didn't have the passion you would find in England but it was definitely worth going to see.

Big chairs or small people

by DavyJB

Behind Tyn church in the area known as Ungelt there is a clothes shop called Ivana Follova and outside it has two chairs one with a moon symbol on top the other with a sun and these chairs make people mysteriously shrink (probably).
