But it was a surprise that this hotel was so good. In the end of July 09 a real bargain: triple with breakfast for only 41 euro/night. We had a minisuite with two bedrooms, and separate wc and shower. Simple but functional and renovated rooms on 5th floor. Tv in both rooms, towels and soap provided. Staff at reception desk very helpful and nice. The breakfast room looked a bit soviet-scary, but buffet was ok with boiled eggs and watermelon slices. There is a swimming pool in the adjacent sports center, costs extra 100 CZK/person., not really worth it.
Location also good. Tram nr 9 stops just outside, and take only 10 minutes to Vaclav square. Or walk 5 minutes to metro at Flora shopping center. The nearby Zizkov district (around the tv tower) has several small non-touristic eateries, where you can fill up better and cheaper than in the old town.
Overall: Very good value for the money.
