PLEASE DO NOT BOOK IT; I CANNOT RECOMMEND Hotel Ostruvek; Let me explain my history.
I booked one room on Hotel Ostruvek, the first night while i was spleeping one burglar entered in my room and took my wallet (YES, you are reading correcly, one burglar entered while i was sleeping). Doors can also be opened from the outside when they are closed, a rarity in any hotel.
Therefore, i lost all my money, credit cards, passport and ID. All of this, (The same problem happened to other guests in the hotel.) Just for sleep in this hotel!!
After that my visit to Prague was: call the police to make the theft report; with it go to my embassy and request a safe-conduct to come back.
To complet the nice visit to hotel Ostruvek, i had to pay an extra fee of 40 CZK to put our valuables in a security box, ironic as it is.
Before leaving the hotel, as we asked about the guest book, they surprisingly claimed they had none available. They would only provide a blank piece of paper for us to put down some notes. I honestly had never seen such thing before.
All these facts are just NOT ACCEPTABLE for any hotel, so for all of these reasons, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.
If you do not trust me, contact me and i will show you the police report, safe-conduct...
Hope that this post can be of help to do not make the same mistake
