Take your time.....1

That is if you have the luxury of time to go around.
This group of musicians was playing traditional ( just pressuming, as it sounds czech to me :-0) czech music, just outside the gates of Prague Castle. The music was entertaining , much more their costumes, which i think is cool in a way.
Andel area

Outside the city centre is Andel, three stops from Wenceslas Square on the yellow line.
There are a number of stores in the Zlaty Andel complex aswell as a multiplex cinema, where I saw the Matrix Reloaded in English with Czech subtitles.
Dressing Up A Statue
by ExGuyParis
The Infant of Prague
This statue of the infant Jesus has made quite an impact. The statue, 47 cm tall, is made of wax with a wood core. There are many legends about the statue; it is believed that it was made in Spain, and once belonged to Saint Therese of Avila. It eventually was given to the Church of Our Lady Victorious in Prague in the 16th Century.
The statue originally had one cape and crown, but today the statue proudly possesses over seventy different outfits—many of expensive cloth and adorned with precious jewels. The outfits are changed according to the liturgical season.
Many miracles are attributed to this statue.
As a child, I remember being fascinated by my grandmother’s copy of the statue. She religously changed its outfit [pun intended] as the church calendar shifted gears.

John Lennon Wall
by Gottsie
The wall holds messages of peace, freedom and hope. People started writing messages in graffiti when the nation was still under communist rule. The wall was repainted several times by the authorities but this didn’t stop the graffiti reappearing.
Many people didn't know that...

Many people didn't know that the world's biggest stadium is located in Prague. Strahov's stadiums capacity is 240,000 people. It's very old and it was planned orginally for mass gymnastics events. Nowdays it's owned half by the goverment and private company. The future of this stadium lies unclear but now it's just suitable for eg conserts, there is no grass field.
