The hotel u divadla is a four star hotel just out of the centre of Prague but please dont let this put you off this great hotel, the staff where amongst some of the best we have met on our travels, helpful, friendly and nothing is too much work, the rooms are smaller than advertised in your brochure but again dont let this put you off the rooms are a good size for two guests, there cleaned daily, ample sized bathroom with shower only but again spotlessly clean, its a 20 minute taxi drive from Prague airport and will cost you around 700 czech koruna (around £20) there are also buses leave the airport for as little as 20 czech koruna (around 70p) to the centre of prague.

The hotel has the most amazing menu in its restaurant and the prices for 2 people for a two course meal plus drinks works out at around £30, my advice if you stay and your hungry order the samava delicay its a traditional czech dish of red cabbage, pork loin and smoked pork loin with potato croquettes stuffed with bacon and dumplings, this is a seriously big dish but well worth the effort to try and eat it, another of our favourites was the chicken tatufor, chicken served in a wild mushroom and truffle sauce (you just have to try this) the chef is amazing.

Breakfast menu consists of hot and cold food, the usual hams, cheeses, cereals etc but also with a different hot dish daily, pancakes, eggs, meatloaf etc and some great czech breads

Although this hotel is out of the centre it is only a five minute walk to the tram stop then you can get the number 17 tram which takes you straight to charles bridge within ten minutes, or the number 3 tram which takes you into the heart of prague on wenselas square again only about ten minutes. the trams are easy to navigate basically buy your tram ticket from any tobbaconist (one across the road from the hotel) then get on the tram validate your ticket in the machine and thats it! simple

Unique Quality: Outstanding qualities of this hotel has to be the food you seriously have to eat here at least once even if you are not staying at this hotel, and the staff, they will go out of there way to make sure you have a wonderful stay.
