Nice cosy pension in Prague

It is cosy and average, if you are not too demanding, like, for example, a certain brand of toilet soap, or latest design furniture. Rooms are roomy, silent, there is gentle central heating and attention from reception staff is excellent, helpful and smiling. English spoken accurately

They have a few rooms, but a wide range, from single to 4-5 persons

Comfort and Value in Stare Mesto

Small boutique pension on a medieval street just off Karlova Ul. Only a handful of rooms, tastefully modernized; excellent breakfast in the basement. Super-nice!

Excellent Location, Great Hotel

U Krale Jiriho is in an excellent location about 2 minutes walk from Charles Bridge and 5 minutes from the Old Town Square.
The rooms are quiet, fairly spacious and simply but nicely furnished. Not luxurious but clean and comfortable and, if visiting in winter, lovely and warm.
Depending on the room the bathrooms can be quite small (showers but no bath) but, again, are clean and well-maintained.
All the rooms are accessed up stairs and there isn't lift so if you have mobility problems this could prove dificult.
Prices are approximately 2700 CZK to 3100 CZK per Double Room per night (B&B). Probably not the cheapest place to stay in Prague but, given the location, very good value.
We have stayed here 5 times and would certainly recommend it.

Unique Quality: Breakfast is served in what was the James Joyce pub and is now a restaurant/bar in the eveningd. It's basic - breads, cheese, meats, boiled eggs, cereal, tea and coffee - but nice.
