This hotel is plainly decorated but rooms are spacious, clean and well-equipped. Bathrooms are modern and the place was renovated fairly recently. Prices are good, including the nini-bar. It is near tramlines and a good selections of resturants.
I stayed in the hotel Yasmin last year, June 2006. The hotel is a modern boutique hotel situated in a great location. it is about 5 -10 mins walk to the prague clock tower and old town sq. The service and amenities in hotel is good. The room is very clean - almost clinical. The gym needs some improvement though- the equipments are not up to date.
Hotel Berlin is a little out of the way as far as tourist attractions, but close to the Andel metro station which is only a 5 min ride from Wenceslas Square.
It is a newer hotel with new furnishings and a 24-hour reception. The neighborhood, Smichov, isn't as nice as some of the touristy areas. I didn't feel as safe in this area at night as in the rest of Prague.
Rooms are clean and comfortable staff is friendly. All rooms have satellite TV and minibar. The helpfulness of the staff was probably the best aspect of this hotel.
