Hotel Capri: Hotel Capri
A descent place, I would stay there again. Not the poster for "luxery" but what does that really matter if you don't plan on being in your room that much?
Free breakfast, good food.
Clean.
Tiny bathroom.

Navratilova apartments: Great value apartment
The apartment was beautiful. Very modern and recently renovated. The apartment has a kitchen with oven, grill, fridge, kettle, toaster etc. The living room is huge with sky tv, although the tv occassionally made an annoying buzzing sound. We had some problems with the hot water, but once the owner explained to us how to use it properly it was fine! The bedroom was lovely with a huge wardrobe and a very comfortable bed.
Unique Quality: The best thing about this apartment was the fantastic location. It is right in the old town, just a couple of minutes walk from Wenceslus square and Tesco's. We did all our sightseeing on foot as there was no need to use public transport being so central!

Apartment Golden Tree II
We only had a lukewarm experience with the apartments. To begin with, it wasn?t made clear that the reception was a good ways from the actual apartments. We took a taxi there from the train station with our luggage, but as it took us over an hour to check the taxi couldn?t wait for us. When I asked the girl how we were supposed to get our luggage to the apartment she told us that it was only a 20 minute walk. However, it was dark, icy, snowing, and cold. And we had a lot of luggage. She eventually called another taxi for us. The real problem was that the apartment they ended up taking us to was not the apartment advertised on the website. We thought we would be staying on Neurodova. That was one of the reasons we picked that particular place. Instead, they took us to Ujezd, a fairly long walk from the center of Mala Strana. When I inquired about this I was told that the apartments on Neurodova were full. Still, they shouldn?t advertise them if they can?t accommodate. It didn?t look anything like the pictures on the Internet-probably because it wasn?t the same place.
The apartment had both good and bad qualities. It wasn?t really an apartment at all. It was a large room with a kitchenette. Oh, and a large bathroom which was nice. Still, there was nothing outstanding about it. There weren?t any pictures on the wall or any kind of decorations at all. The beds, while comfortable, were very low to the ground and a little difficult for my handicapped traveling partner to get in and out of. We stayed there for four nights but nobody ever came to clean the room. We weren?t told what to do with the key, either, and had to call and ask. The good points were that we had a great view of Petrin Hill and there was a tram stop outside the front door. And we enjoyed having the great restaurant La Bastille below us. It was also nice to have a tea maker in the room, too, as well as a refrigerator.

Old Prague Hostel
I have stayed at the Old Prague Hostel several times. It has consistently pleased me thus far, and I am becoming increasingly difficult to please when it comes to hostel standards. The hostel is relatively new and looks it. It?s clean, compact, and seems to be well managed. The dorm rooms and private rooms are not ensuite, but the community showers are plentiful. Great water pressure and the hot doesn?t run out. That?s always important in a shower. The hostel is spread out over two floors and both floors have their own common rooms. The one on the bottom floor has the television. Breakfast is provided and consists of sandwiches, cereal, and juice. There is a place to store your luggage, as check-in is 2:00 pm and it is not only locked up and safe but in the view of the reception. The dorm rooms are roomy and the beds comfortable although the duvets are kind of thin. You can adjust the temperature in the rooms though so I never got cold, even though I stayed there in the winter. The doors are padded in order to control noise.
The location is the best thing about the place. It is only a few minutes walk from Old Town Square and is just around the corner from Namesti Republicky. The tram stop is about a three minute walk and a tram there will take you to the main train station. The price is a little stiffer than at some of the other hostels in town, but you really are paying for the location.

Ariva Guest House: Interesting Place
I didn't stay here because I couldn't get a cheap enough room rate!
However, it is cute, quaint and nice if you are going to LIVE or stay in Prague for a long period of time. They have MONTHLY rates (discounted if you make a deal) and some rooms have a refridgerator and/or kitchenette.
Unique Quality: They have MONTHLY rates (discounted if you make a deal) and some rooms have a refridgerator and/or kitchenette.
It's run by two "gay guys" and is popular with that set.

Imperial: good clean fun
now, for a holiday that cost me 80 pounds, i was sceptical. however, quite impressed with the imperial. quite a strange atmosphere, the lifts are.....interesting to say the least.
breakfast was a fun experience, more a grab what you can before the milk gets warm thing, but we could nick a few bread rolls so that was lunch sorted. rooms clean, furniture old and old. showers - bring your flip flops. but i was happy because there were locks on the doors. and i walked around the whole weekend pretending to be the ambassador to prague or some other diplomat - the hotel looks like its straight out of 'tea with mussolini' (great film, you should rent it)

Residence Belehradska 35: Apartment Convenience in Prague
B-35 exceeded our expectations, giving us not just a specious room but our own Kitchen and bathroom, both private and roomy. The reception hallway is also impressive and modern. Guests get electronic key card security and access to a free internet terminal which is troublefree. Their website contains accurate photos which don't exagerate the space.
Unique Quality: The fully equipped kitchen is a real find. The supermarket up the street sells very cheap food which you can prepare in your room, saving you loads of money. The only problem is you need to wash the dishes you use. It would be especially good for long stays in Prague. The rooms S1-S6 could also sleep upto 4 people for even greater budgeting.

Apartment Platyz: Luxury right in the centre of Prague
Platyz is a modern apartment located within walking distance of the Old Town Square, Wencelas square and Charles Bridge. In fact, its location is just perfect for those who prefer walking around prague, as it is surrounded by shops, pubs, restaurants and many more.
The apartment is fully furnished and contains an entrance hall, a large room with 2 double beds, a convertible sofa, TV/CD player, table and chairs and ensuite kitchen. It also had an ensuite shower and a cloakroom.
The price for renting the apartment is also very reasonable. It cost us 2100Kr per night (£52), and considering that this price is for the whole apartment and during Xmas, it is really a bargain! The place has central heating and all kitchen amenities, so you can actually chill out indoors if you get too tired of walking!
Unique Quality: The low price and central location make this place ideal for a couple or a group of four people. It's entrance is also situated within a small courtyard which is full of shops and a cafe.

Apartment in the Old Town: Apartment in the Old Town
We really wanted to stay in the Old Town area on our trip to Prague. I love to be in walking distance of the main sites and restaurants. But when I started researching accommodation I found that any of the hotels in the Old Town were either fully booked, or not very nice and too expensive for what you got.
So the next option was to rent a self contained apartment and I came across a UK based company with a selection of very reasonable priced options in the Old Town. We decided on one just a few minutes walk from the Old Town Square, close to Namesti Republiky.
Located on the 5th floor (with no elevator) the studio apartment was a loft style, with a couple of different levels. It was quite a unique space and there was plenty of room for us….and several of our friends too if we had invited them!
Bedding and towels were provided along with a fully fitted kitchen…not that we made any use of it.
Unique Quality: We were met at the apartment late on the night we arrived by a friendly representative of the company we booked through. She ran us through the facilities handed over the key and then we were on our own. When we finished our holiday all that we had to do was sign the visitors book and leave the key in the letterbox on the way out.
We were really happy with the apartment. It was the perfect base for our time in Prague. The only negative would be that it was quite a climb to the 5th floor….so make sure you have minimal luggage.
And it you went up to the top of the loft and looked out the window you could even see the Castle!
If you are looking at the website, we stayed in Apartment 46

Apartment Karolina: Downtown Base
We stayed in an apartment in Prague. As it was waaayyy off season, we were able to snag one that was a 30 second walk to perfect views of the Charles Bridge.
We went through a-prague.com. It was advertised as a two bedroom apartment. But when we got there, one of the bedrooms was suddenly being rennovated. Hmmm.... not something you want to hear after an overnight flight.
Unique Quality: Old building not recognizable as an apart-hotel. Gives you more of the feeling of being a local. Plus there's a cool bar right downstairs (bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper)
