Franz Kafka ((July 3, 1883 ? June 3, 1924) was one of the major writers in the 20th century. Although none of his works were published in his life time and he wrote in German, Franz Kafka IS Prague. Here he lived and here he got the inspiration for his work. The Castle is here and so is the Old Town Square to which he referred: "Within this little circle, my whole life is contained."
