Prague Jewel

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on November 5, 2007

We stayed five nights at the Pension Vetrnik and were totally pleased!!! Most of the time we had dinner at the Pension. Milos serves a great meal! It was refreshing to "eat in" after a day of crowds in Prague. It is two minutes to the tram line. You can go anywhere in town for 20 K. After four weeks of driving in five countries that was a treat.
I highly reccommend Pension Vetrnik to anyone staying in Prague!!!

Unique Quality: Milos and Blanka make you feel at home from the time you arrive until you depart. These folks understand what service is and deliver it. It is hard not to sound like I work for the place as they do such a great job!
They make a fantatic omellett!

Great place to stay - once was a Windmill

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on April 3, 2007

We stayed 3 nights and 4 days. It was lovely and easy to get to all the sites. This was once a family operated Windmill. The original family still owns the location and have lots of stories to share. They go out of their way to serve you - getting taxi's for you, tickets for the bus, they make sure you are familiar with the area also. The food there was great. They would not let us pay anything until we left and the amount (I forget) was a great shock to my husband. we would highly recommend location if you are looking for a nice private facility. It is close enough to see all the great sights.

Unique Quality: When we started to leave, the owners gave us a little statue of the original windmill. It is a real keepsake.
