If you get offered this hotel complex make sure you know which one you are staying in as they have two separate but adjoining buildings. The Kongres is in the main building and is business orientated whilst the cheaper Garni is an annexe and used mainly for large groups of tourists so there can be some noise.
Strangely the hotel also seems to have two addresses as I have seen it shown as being in U Stare Cihelny St which could be where the main entrance is. The address on our paperwork was Na Viktorce but be aware that if your taxi driver drops you at this entrance you wont be able to get in and you'll need to walk right around to the other side of the hotel - as we found after about 10 minutes of shaking the door and ringing the bell.
Unique Quality: Rooms are OK but fairly basic in the Garni which was where we stayed. The reception, lobby and restaurant are in the Kongres which is just across a small courtyard. There are not many shops or bars nearby but there is a service station just opposite which is good for late night snacks if you get back in the early hours.
Directions: The location is not great being in an industrial looking area about 15 mins taxi from the centre. There are bus stops close by and the nearest metro is Zelivskeho about 1km away.
