Great location, terrible staff
We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. The location is great : 7 min walk to Charles Bridge. The rooms are large and comfortable. The breakfast served is good enough : cheese, ham, some pastries, yoghurt,bread, butter, jam, tea, coffee,milk, orange and apple juice. My big disappointment was the staff. The hotel is dominated by Italian guests and Italian staff. They don't really care too much about guest requests and complaints. TV channels were very few and for some reason they were only Italian. I talked with the reception about that and they said a technician will come to fix the problem. Nobody came, nothing happened. The staff was not even smiling when talking to us. There is a Tesco supermarket in 5 minutes walk to the hotel. You can do your food and drink shopping from there. For the price and location, it is great but if you search for excellent staff, stay away from this hotel.

More Baloney than Bologna
Does "Bologna" mean "baloney" in Czech? This apartment is fine if you're meeting your high school buddy here and you can sleep through anything. I, unfortunately, was not able to sleep through the jack-hammer across the street at 6:00 AM. Seriously, 6:00 AM. I'm sure that doesn't occur every weekend, but I believe there was also a Stag party from England staying next door to us - they got home from the clubs about 6:00 AM. I got home at 5:00 AM, so I was just getting to sleep. Needless to say, I didn't sleep very well. The bed sucked, the couch was falling apart, there was construction in the hall way.
The staff was nice. The rooms were basically clean. I never felt unsafe. This place is fine for a stag party, but not for anyone else that actually wants to get some sleep.
Unique Quality: Close to everything.
