He is a member of the guard of the President of Czech Republic, his residence is at Prague's Castle. He stands next to the entrance of this monumental building, where you can admire -except others- St. Vitus Cathedral, a great symbol of czech history.
Guys...order a beer!
by mbsimjam
If you are going into a traditional pub because, maybe, you have heard or read about its history, or legends, just remember that men generally should order a beer...as opposed to, say, wine or coffee. This is especially true in "U Zlateho Tygra" because of the beer tradition they have there. Women generally have reached the level of equality in the professional world to match most western countries, but the social traditions have held strong, and traditionally in the Czech Republic, the pub is seen as man's domain.

Kampa Park
by illudiumqh36
After the tour of Mala Strana or the Prague Castle it's nice to have a rest in Kampa Park. It's a cute city park on an island under Charles Bridge where the locals are used to go on Sunday afternoon. Trust me... after a great walk it's really satisfying to take off shoes and socks and walk barefoot on the grass of this park.
Close-up on sgraffito
by extrajoce
Sgraffito is a method used to give a three-dimensional aspect to buildings are to decorate them by simply carving out parts of the stone and filling the gaps with a dark color. The effect is quite stunning, and can be seen throughout the historical center.
