 | Prague Riverside Hotel Reviews | Tips 1 - 2 of 2 | | | | | | Tip Rating: Satisfaction: | | | | |
I was staying here with my sister after her brain operation. This time, we did not live in Prague yet. After her op she should stay few days in Prague if there come some complications. After op like this you have a lot of special wishes and the personal of this hotel helped us great, was allways friendly, even if the reception woman cooked tee after midnight, because there was nobody in the kitchen. This hotel is in one art nouveau building, great renovated.
In the whole interieurs of this hotel are the modern technology and traditional design comming together. Everything is great designed into the last detail, rooms are very comfortable and really very nice. The best in this Hotel is the personal. Here you can enjoy the real czech hospitality. The hotel does not have own restaurant, but you can get some food into your room and they make great breakfast. My opinion is, that you don't need restaurant there, because there are a lot of very good restaurants around. Personal here helps you with any kind of things you need, they are really great. |

Hotel Riverside is a 5star hotel, member of "small luxury hotels of the world" located at the banks of Vlatava river in a quarter called Smichov. It´s close to the Dancing house. Unfortunately there aren`t too many tempting looking bars, cafés or restaurants close by - and it is a 15/20 minutes walk to the centre. Closest metro station is Andel. However - the hotel is elegant and decently furnished. It has about 50 rooms now, but they are planning on enlarging the hotel. The hotel was opened in 2002 already, but it still seems to be brand new- it is very well maintained. There is a bar, where you could take your welcome drink, which is usually included in the room price. The superior rooms (EUR 275/night) have courtyard view I read, the deluxe rooms (EUR 335/night) are provided with a seating area and views of river Vltava. A nice milk glass leaf door was leading to the pretty mosaic tiles bathroom with double sink, bath tub and glass shower. The breakfast was very good and the staff was helpful and friendly. The use of the mini bar was included in room price. All in all - it is for sure a really decent hotel, where you`ll hardly get disappointed. I found it lacked a bit of a special atmosphere or uniqueness and the quarter isn`t particularily charming. Leave a Comment |
