The Green Fairy by Marpessa
Well... I didn't actually try Absinth (aka 'The Green Fairy'), but I bought a couple of bottles and took it over to some friends of mine in Dublin. You can find Absinth anywhere, souvenir shops mainly. I bought my bottles at the airport. Historically Absinth reached a height of fame in the 19th Century - it was favoured by Bohemians. Also people such as; Oscar Wilde, Ernest Hemmingway and Vincent Van Gogh drank/used Absinth and considered it as an influence on their work.
It is an emerald green colour and is flavoured distilled liquor. However it does contain certain ingredients that may act or have an affect like drugs.
